The usually-quoted figure in the #media is #seasonally #adjusted and 'real' - it doesn't take inflation into account

**#Real GDP** GDP without inflation
**#Nominal GDP** GDP with inflation included

- released quarterly so sluggish
- revised frequently, so hard to make policy off it
- in the US, revised from 6 months to years later
